Wicca as a religion is a duotheistic theological system, which has a goddess in triple aspect and a horned god.|In the neo pagan faith of wicca the deities are defined as a Goddess who is maidan, mother and crone and a male deity who is known as the horned god.}
The Horned god / lord is a term that was attributed to, pan-European witchcraft-based cults which was brought to life by Margaret Murray in 1921. There is no real evidence that the Horned god has any true historical evidence of being a deity it his own right but is consider to be the god of nature and the opposite and equal of the goddess.
